SUMMER FUN

Xander has been enjoying the warm weather (while mum and dad melt!). He had fun with the hose and sprinkler with Opa and Uncle Rick. He got Rick saturated - twice I think! Then watered the garden once with the hose and once by himself if you know what I mean!







Dylan has been staying with us this summer and Xander has loved having a big friend to play with. The pool has been up and the waterslide has been well used. Dylan helps Xander by getting him on his tummy and giving him a push. He hasn't quite got the hang of the run and slide thing yet.







The other photo is of Xander and the box. Boxes are not safe at our house. We had one small one here that Xander spied and drew on and cut up till it was in shreds. Jack got him a couple of huge boxes when in town and both Xander and Dylan have been busy with them. One got used as something for Xander to lie on while Dylan dragged him round the yard and tanker drive. The second one was jumped on with Dylan on the inside of it. I think Xander could make a great stunt man. He loves jumping onto boxes!







Then there was Oma's birthday. Xander insisted on candles to blow out and even sang happy birthday by himself (well parts of it!) before blowing them out.







He loved playing with Uncle Tom and the bouncy ball - AGAIN!







Later that night, Xander talked to Uncle Rick and Melissa on Skype. He was interested to see him on the screen, but even more interested in the wee picture in the corner of himself!
