In June, it actually snowed in Palmerston North. I don't remember that happening EVER! A couple of days after the snow, we got a couple of really heavy downpours of hail. Xander had never seen hail before. Opa scooped him some up to look at and Xander insisted on trying it to eat!!For ages afterwards, Xander would say grace with the added thanks for "the ice that fell down. Amen!"
